Halloween, ’twas Cool Pumpy-kins!
On Halloween night, October 31st, Christopher and I threw a Halloween party at our place. It was actually what we call a HoG party, which is in relation to our web project Hall of the Gods.
Twenty-two people showed up, the majority being people we’ve met online through HoG and the gaming servers we host. (Which is how Christopher and I met, by the way
) Most of these folks we’ve come to be good friends with. A few of them are going out of the city to pursue their lives, so I was glad to get some time with them before that occurs. Besides that, everyone has been so busy since the summer. Most of us haven’t had much of a chance to see one another, so it was generally great to have everyones company again!
The party was a great success in the amount of fun that was had. I really enjoyed myself, although the cooking situation was a bit of a stress in the beginning. I love to give back to people in simply small ways, like feeding them good food. So, as the grill was having a hard time getting fired up, I became a bit flustered. But like with anything, all came together in due time!
I must admit that I had my own hidden agenda for wanting to grill so badly, though. I have had a great craving for my own burgers for some time, and I had to find a way to satisfy that!
Considering Christopher and I slept straight through our first Halloween together, last year, we made sure to make this one count. Our last Halloween holiday before the baby comes to be, but our child still was apart of the celebration. Christopher had a brilliant idea for our costumes a few months back. He was a Pumpkin Farmer, and I (along with my baby belly) was his prized pumpkin!

At one point Ray captured Christopher on film, doing a bit of a farmers jig! Well, Ryan and myself did join along for a few moments, but Christopher was the inspiration of it all!
View that video here! Ahhhh, good times indeed!
You can view more of the party photos in here. I had added a Photo Gallery to this blog several weeks ago, it’s also accessible in the column at left.
I shall be off for now, there is a “grumbly in my tumbly”! Beyond that, I have some crocheting to catch up to!
