Pinkie Remembered

In my teenage years, I often lose sight of the things I once had. I forget how people once were, and how things use to be.
I often say that I missed out on having a good stuffed animal companion. Out of all of the stuffed animals I was given, I didn’t have a single one that I felt really attached to.
In the moments of today, we forget the little things about yesterday, and those are things I cherish the most.
I had a stuffed companion named “Pinkie”! He was a pink pig with yellow ears. I loved the material he was made out of.
Apparently, I had quite the time with this little guy. I threw him in my Father’s hot soup, lost him and found him several times. And his legacy was even so great, that there was a Pinkie II!
I know I’ve never had that kind of closeness with a stuffed animal since. ![]()

It makes sence now. She was just saying. PINKY PINKY PINKY! throughout the night looking for a picture of pinky. I was giving her werid looks but now I understand. I had my share of animals too… But you know of some of them already

It’s hard to recall any stuffed animal I loved more than any other, since they were all my children. Well, for a long time, there was a yellow bear that I carried around EVERYWHERE I went; unfortunately, he was lost in the move to this house nearly 10 years ago. I remember once riding in the back of my dad’s truck (the pick-up part) with the bear, dropping him on the road…. We were only going 25 mph but I was totally ready to risk my life saving him.
